Here's part 2 of Maureen and Richards wedding day! You can read all about the first half of their day here. There was so much happening that I couldn't fit it all into just one blog post. That wouldn't do these two party animals justice. From a full-blown "1st" reception complete with a fabulous desert table, purple and green decor and dancing, to the elevator entrance of their 2nd reception, the second half of the day was amazing...needless to say I was super hyped to be able to capture it all for Maureen and Richard.
After some dancing, cake and some socializing, the two lovebirds were off to celebrate some more at the Villa Barone Manor.
I'm a bit biased, so of course the 1 Chronicles table was the one that I photographed.
The notes on the cake are from "Here Comes the Bride". I'm so glad that someone told me so that I could truly appreciate the awesomeness of this cake.
There were so many highlights from their day but this moment right here was my favorite. Maureen and Richard's entrance was so much fun! They came in, not through the door, but through the floor! In an elevator! To Prince's Let's Go Crazy! The people lost it. I did too!
Hilarical and touching toasts from the Maid of Honor and Best Man.
Directly after the toasts it was SUPPOSED to be dinner time, but the guests weren't having it. They requested a change in music and proceeded to form a conga line.
Which turned into a Soul Train line!
You know the DJ is good when the guests look like this. (Sidebar, that's my mom on the right!)
And this!
Then there was cake, the bouquet toss and garter toss.
Two ladies caught the bouquet and held on to it for a few minutes. One of them decided to part ways with the bouquet. Great sportsmanship ladies!
Matrix mode!
Fun times! Maureen and Richard, thank you SO much for asking me to document your wedding day for you. I had an amazing time watching God work through you two, your family and your friends. There were so many tender moments as well as fun memories that make a wedding day special. Love you two!
